Our project aims to increase the resilience of the South Oropouche River Basin to flooding, sea level rise, and water deficits. These events already impact infrastructure, health, water security, gender relations, livelihoods, and the basin's ecosystems. Proposed measures are based on extensive research and community consultations, with support from relevant ministries.
